Palate

Powerful maritime peat dominates, edged with iodine and sea salt, carried by a full, glossy mouth. Vanilla and toffee sweetness blurs into citrus rind, while black pepper and oak provide focused spice. At cask strength, the finish is long and saline, with smoke lingering and coastal minerals echoing across the palate.

Finish

Coastal and enduring, the finish carries Caol Ila’s peat as a saline breeze. Dried fruit and cocoa from the sherry influence meld with rich oak, while a bright note of orange zest cuts through. A final wisp of smoke lingers, warm and persistent, long after the swallow.
