A Caol Ila single malt released for Feis Ile 2019, this 22 year old was bottled in 2019 at a natural cask strength of 58.4% ABV after maturation in American oak sherry-seasoned casks. The festival release was limited to around 3,000 bottles.
The cask style adds layers of dried fruit sweetness and spice while retaining Caol Ila’s hallmark character of coastal peat smoke, citrus brightness and maritime salinity, creating a well-balanced Islay expression with both richness and clarity of distillery character.

Coastal Caol Ila peat, sea spray and iodine rise on the nose, brightened by citrus zest. Sherry‑seasoned American oak adds layered dried‑fruit sweetness—raisins, fig, prune—with spice notes of nutmeg and clove. Rich yet crystalline, the aroma balances maritime salt and smoke with elegant oak warmth, a refined Islay character wrapped in depth and clarity.
