The nose initially has a BBQ smoky component, lemon salt, bacon, ash, sea air, liquorice, toasted bread. With water added it becomes softer, fresh coastal notes such as seaweed.
The taste opens with a leathery, honeyed sweetness, toasted seeded bread, white pepper, all spice, clove lemon drops. With water added - faint grassy, ashy tones, elegant, fresh fennel seed with a green pepper note.
A medium long finish, with smoked meats, light but full bodied, well balanced, charred lemon skin, oatcakes.

Nose
BBQ-smoked on the nose, with lemon salt, bacon, ash and sea air, woven with liquorice and toasted bread. With a drop of water, it softens to reveal fresh coastal notes—seaweed and a gentler, lingering smoke.
Palate
Leathery, honeyed sweetness opens the palate, layered with toasted seeded bread, white pepper, and allspice, a kiss of clove lemon drops. With a drop of water, faint grassy and ashy tones emerge, elegant fennel seed notes rise, complemented by a subtle green pepper lift.
Finish
A medium-long finish of smoked meats, light yet full-bodied, impeccably balanced, with charred lemon skin and oatcakes lingering on the palate.
