Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and copper-bronze glints, a sherry-tinted, honeyed glow.
Nose
Creamy, rich and inviting, the nose opens with butterscotch and banana, vanilla-tinged oak underpinning a soft sweetness. Whole black peppercorns offer a peppery lift, while a hint of cake batter and a touch of red chilli heat add subtle, spicy complexity.
Palate
Muscovado sugar coats the palate with vanilla ice cream, green apple and soft toffee, while a touch of oiliness and warming oak deepen the profile. Aromatic baking spices linger, lending a creamy, gently spicy finish.
Finish
Silky, long finish with warming oak and a touch of oiliness. Residual muscovado sugar and toffee linger, complemented by vanilla and green apple fading into baking spices and a faint peppery glow.
