The Blair Athol distillery resides in the Highlands, producing Whisky for a number of blended whiskies, one of the most notable being Bell’s. However, should you get a chance to get your hands on some of their Single Malt, do so - it’s very good. Luckily, TBWC have such a bottling to try.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with coppery edges and a hint of mahogany depth.
Nose
Herbal and tea-like on the nose, with crisp hard green cherries providing a tart lift. Walnuts and raisins weave through, while a cigar-box note adds dry, aged depth and a touch of cedar-spice.
Palate
Strawberry and dried petals ride a mineral backbone, lifted by mint, with roasted pecans adding a warm, nutty finish.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with raisin and roasted pecan sweetness, lifted by minty mineral notes. Sherry depth lingers into tobacco and cocoa warmth, leaving a refined oak-spice echo that persists.
