Colour

Pale straw gold with a delicate honeyed glow.

Nose

Warm vanilla and toffee fuse with honeyed brightness, while pear and apple fruit lend orchard sweetness. Subtle coconut and soft oak carry a gentle spice, with orange zest and lemon hinting in the background. Refined and airy, the aroma echoes 25 years in a refill bourbon cask—bright, approachable, and inviting.

Palate

Silky and bold, this 25-year-old Bladnoch in refill bourbon delivers vanilla, toffee and a lift of citrus zest. Creamy apple and pear notes mingle with gentle spice (cinnamon, nutmeg) and soft oak. A warm, persistent sweetness coats the palate, finishing with vanilla caramel richness and a bright citrus glow.

Finish

Long, warm finish of vanilla bean and gentle toffee, with citrus rind brightness. Subtle oak spice and a whisper of white pepper linger, drying gracefully and leaving an almond nuance.

Bladnoch
(BLAD-nock) Bladnoch was founded in 1817 by brothers John and Thomas McClelland on their farm near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway. Set beside the River Bladnoch, it is Scotland’s most southerly working distillery and one of the oldest active Lowland single malt producers. The McClelland family developed the site for almost a century, with Bladnoch later known as the “Queen of the Lowlands” as production expanded.
