Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden straw with a warm, honey-tinged amber edge.
Nose
Vanilla and honeyed oak from the refill ex-Bourbon cask, with bright melon and pear, lemon zest and a whisper of spice. Clean, sun-warmed and elegant, its delicate cereal note lingers as Bladnoch’s perfumed Lowland style unfurls.
Palate
Rich yet refined on the palate, viscous vanilla and honey mingle with sunny melon and citrus zest, balanced by a subtle briny note from gravlax. Gentle spice, toasted oak, and a silky, creamy mouthfeel lead to a long, honeyed finish.
Finish
Long and luxurious, this finishes with honeyed vanilla and creamy toffee that coat the tongue. Oak-derived spice grows gently, complemented by citrus zest and dried fruit, fading to a silky, warm glow with a subtle almond finish and a final whisper of ginger.
