A very very rare Balvenie founders reserve gift set which includes a cognac style bottle of 10 year old, a wooden bottle plinth and metal barrel design Whisky measure. This was issued sometime in the 1980's and is supplied with it's original packaging box. A rare find for the Balvenie collector.

Silky and balanced, the palate opens with honeyed barley, toffee and orchard fruit. Sherry influence brings raisins, spice and a whisper of orange zest, all wrapped in warm vanilla and oak. The finish is long and refined, with gentle spice and a creamy, nutty undertone.
Finish
Silky, honeyed sweetness lingers into a long, luxurious finish, tempered by sherry-inflected depth. Velvet oak, toasted almond, and gentle spice unfold as notes of dried apricot, orange zest, and cocoa leave a warm, resinous echo on the palate. A refined, persistent warmth invites another sip.
