Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2025 at 56.9% ABV, this single cask Arran was matured in a refill sherry hogshead (cask #172) and yielded 222 bottles.
The refill sherry influence softens over nearly three decades, allowing Arran’s naturally fruity, creamy character to shine alongside gentle dried fruit, honeyed sweetness and spice from long wood contact.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden amber with honeyed warmth and a soft copper glow.
Nose
Light, sweet aromas of honey and butterscotch mingle with ripe peaches, apricot and pear, hinting at a creamy richness to come.
Palate
Silky, mouth-coating creaminess blankets the palate, with iced sponge cake and glacier cherries flanked by wholemeal biscuits and white chocolate. Guava, strawberry and peach mingle with a zesty lemon note and a whisper of tobacco, finishing in a poised, softly spiced glow.
Finish
A longer finish of ginger spice, coconut and lingering vanilla.
