Tasting Notes
Colour
Warm, sunlit gold to honey-amber with coppery russet edges; a rich, multi-hued bronze glow that captures the influence of the sherry and wine cask finishes.
Nose
Coastal peat and sea breeze mingle with a mosaic of sherry-finished richness. Caol Ila’s Moscatel sweetness glows with smoke; Cragganmore’s Port lends depth; Glenkinchie’s Amontillado adds nutty warmth; Lagavulin’s PX intensifies peat and fruit; Oban’s Montilla brings bright maritime fruit; Talisker adds peppery, sea-kissed sweetness. On the palate the six-distillery tapestry reveals sherried sweetness, coastal salt and peat with a spectrum of fruit, nut and spice. Caol Ila’s Moscatel finish offers a clean, sweet smoke; Cragganmore adds plush Port depth; Glenkinchie lends nutty Amontillado softness; Lagavulin delivers bold peat with PX richness; Oban brings generous fruit and maritime brightness; Talisker supplies a brisk, peppery finish.
