Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent on the nose: dried fig and raisin mingle with orange zest, toffee and vanilla atop rich oak. Refined spice threads through with a delicate smoke, a graceful prelude to five decades in cask.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and refined, this 50-year blend delivers rich sherried fruit—raisins, fig and burnt orange—beside dark chocolate, toffee and toasted almond. Spice notes of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg unfold against polished oak, finishing with a tobacco-tinged, elegant warmth that lingers on the palate.
Finish
Long, stately finish with dark fruit and cocoa notes, carried by toasted oak and spice, a touch of sherry sweetness lingering beautifully as the whisky softly sighs away.
