Whyte & Mackay Nomad Outland Blended Scotch Whisky
Out of stock
An interesting blend from Whyte and Mackay that is a blend of 25 single malts from Speyside & 6 grain whiskies aged for 5-8 years and married for 1 year together in Scotland and 1 year in Ex-Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks.
The sort of experiment in blending that could have gone horribly wrong but i am happy to report that this is actually very moreish/Dalmore esque treat of a blend.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with coppery undertones and a touch of mahogany, a warm, inviting glow.
Nose
Old-fashioned toffee and vanilla fudge form a warm, confectionery core, lifting juicy sultana and ripe figs. Buttered honey flapjacks add sweetness, with a dusting of cocoa powder and mellow oak tying the aroma together.
Palate
A sweet, juicy sherry-forward palate with raisin and sultana fruit; sherry-soaked sponge, toasted nuts, and aromatic winter spices mingle with golden syrup and creamy oak, finishing mellow and warmly.
Finish
Soft, juicy and mellow, with persistent raisin and sultana sweetness carried by sherry-trifle notes, fading into a nutty, warm finish.
