Torabhaig Taigh is the first permanent core release from the Torabhaig Distillery on the Isle of Skye. This softly peated single malt has been matured in a combination of bourbon and wine casks, bringing both sweetness and complexity to the spirit.
The whisky offers a balanced character of gentle woodland smoke and coastal embers layered with baked apple, maple syrup and warming clove and cinnamon spice. Silky notes of vanilla custard, toasted almonds and dried fruit develop into a finish of toasted oak, red berries and lingering, delicate peat smoke.

Colour
Golden amber with warm copper highlights
Nose
Distinct smoke and earthy notes rise from the glass, with hints of oak and freshly baked apple pie. A delicate maple sweetness leads to juicy raisins, while clove and cinnamon spice deepen the aroma, finished with a whisper of pastry.
Palate
Light and mild at first, the palate welcomes a pronounced, coastal smoke that mingles with vanilla sweetness. Roasted almonds and dried fruits unfold behind, lending texture and balance to a softly structured, lingering finish.
Finish
Medium-long and distinctly oak-forward, the finish carries toasted oak and noticeable tannins as red berries linger on the palate. Subtle peat smoke threads through a warming spice of cinnamon and cloves, slowly fading to leave a delicate, fruit-kissed afterglow.
