Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with coppery hues and a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Subdued peat smoke with hints of orange peel and tangy fruit, and a whiff of dying embers. A touch of vanilla sweetness lingers, while freshly sawn oak spice threads through the aroma.
Palate
Peat returns with a BBQ smoke on the palate, followed by pepper and a bright balsamic acidity, then a touch more sweetness and gentle spice. Fragrant cedar and leather emerge, while the sherry cask influence adds a measured, dusky depth that lingers alongside the integrated peat.
Finish
A light touch of sherry lingers, perfectly balanced with the peat and spice, leaving a refined, lingering warmth.
