Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Slightly subdued peat smoke with hints of orange peel, tangy fruit and a whiff of dying embers. A touch of vanilla sweetness and freshly sawn oak spice round out the aroma.
Palate
Peat returns on the palate with a BBQ note, followed by pepper, a gentle balsamic acidity, and more sweetness with subtle spice. Fragrant cedar and leather unfold, as the sherry casks lend extra depth.
Finish
A light, lingering finish where the sherry influence remains just above the peat and spice, harmonizing with Torabhaig’s integrated depth. A touch of sweetness and oak taper to a refined, balanced fade.
