This release of The One is a singular blend of The Lakes Single Malt and select Scotch grain and malt whiskies. This blend was finished for one year in first-fill Tawny Port Casks from Portugal, personally sourced by whiskymaker Dhavall Gandhi. Full-bodied and smoky with ripe cherries and plums on the nose leading to hints of nutmeg and black pepper with a long, warming finish.
Non-chill filtered for a richer mouthfeel and fuller flavour, with only the natural colours derived from our oak casks in every bottle. Bottled at 46.6% ABV.

Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and mahogany undertones, a warm ruby-bronze glow.
Nose
Ripe cherries and plums rise from the glass, wrapped in a smoky, warming essence. Port cask influence threads through with nutmeg and black pepper, delivering a rich, inviting aromatic depth that hints at sweetness and a long, lingering finish.
Palate
Full-bodied and velvety on the palate, revealing ripe cherry and plum woven with smoky, port-tinged sweetness. Nutmeg and black pepper lift the spice, while silky tannins drive a warm, long finish with hints of toasted oak and lingering port depth. Non-chill filtered richness enhances the mouthfeel.
Finish
Long, warming finish with smoky depth and a lingering kiss of port-dark fruit, as ripe cherries and plums soften into nutmeg and black pepper, fading to a warm, oak-kissed glow.
