A celebration of 2 quintessentially Irish products - whiskey and stout! Teeling Whiskey Company and Galway Bay Brewery, have been collaborating for years with the cult classic “200 fathoms” – an Imperial Stout, aged just once annually in Teeling’s Small Batch ex-Rum barrels.
For this whiskey, the stout-seasoned barrels are filled wit Teeling Small Batch whiskey and left to mature for a further 3 months. The result is a rich, dark and malty whiskey.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, nearly opaque black with warm mahogany-ruby edges and a chestnut glow, hinting at roasted malt.
Nose
Dark chocolate and truffles mingle with tart sour apples, lifted by a bracing note of ocean spray.
Palate
Sweet malt forms the backbone, with roasted barley lending a toasted, silky depth. Sour fruit notes provide a bright, tangy counterpoint, while black cherries add plush, dark fruit richness. A malty, nuanced palate that carries the stout cask character through a creamy, lingering finish.
Finish
A bright Seville orange lift lingers, layered with digestive biscuits, honeycomb sweetness and a velvety cream that drapes the finish in luxurious softness.
