Tasting Notes
Colour
A rich, sun-warmed amber with copper-gold sheen and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Sweet, fruit-forward nose with melon, pear and apple bathed in honey, touched by sultana and orange zest. Ginger, tangerine skin and cedar-wood incense mingle with warm spice, delivering a creamy, resinous allure and a whisper of sherry refinement.
Palate
Orange marmalade on brown toast pairs with a dry, nutty sherry wood backbone, finishing with treacle tart sweetness.
Finish
Long, refined finish of toasted nutshells and walnuts, slowly giving way to mocha, with a bright note of spiced orange and a final kiss of polished oak.
