Tamdhu Quercus Alba Distinction III Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Tamdhu Quercus Alba Distinction III celebrates the influence of American white oak and traditional sherry cask maturation. The journey begins in the forests of North America, where selected Quercus Alba oak is transported to Spain’s sherry triangle. There, the staves are shaped into casks, air-dried under the Mediterranean sun, carefully toasted and seasoned with Oloroso sherry before making their way to Tamdhu.

Once filled with Tamdhu’s vibrant new-make spirit, the casks are left to mature slowly, building layers of creamy vanilla, rich dried fruit and soft oak while developing a natural amber colour entirely from the wood. The result is a composed, sherry-led Speyside single malt with plenty of depth, balancing sweet vanilla and decadent fruit with the distinctive character of American oak.
