Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery glints and a tawny mahogany edge.
Nose
Salty sea air and maritime peat rise first, with bright lemon zest and briny iodine. Smoke threads through a velvety sherried sweetness, weaving dried fig, raisin and dark chocolate. Silky oak and warm spice mingle as pepper and ash linger, unveiling a refined, age-softened complexity.
Palate
Maritime peat and sea-salt smoke envelope the tongue, tempered by rich sherry sweetness. Dried fig and plum mingle with cocoa and spice, carried on a velvet oak. The finish is long, peppery and briny, with a lingering mineral, smoky warmth.
Finish
Long, coastal finish with briny sea-salt, peppery warmth, and ember-soft smoke. Sherry-driven sweetness threads through dark fruit and cocoa, slowly giving way to polished oak and a final kiss of refined peat that lingers gracefully.
