Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper tones and honey-gold edges.
Nose
An arresting maritime perfume of peat smoke and sea spray, wreathed in ripe dried-fruit sweetness. Malty warmth sits on a core of old oak, with smoked leather notes, while sherry-cask richness adds fig and raisin, with hints of black pepper and treacle. A refined, velvety nose that evokes the Isle of Skye and a time-warmed, deeply complex elegance.
Palate
On the palate, coastal smoke and brine unfold, tempered by honeyed sweetness that threads through peat and iodine warmth. Rich sherry-soaked dark fruit, oak spice, and a peppery bite mingle toward a long, saline finish with a lingering maritime calm.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with sea-salted smoke, peppery warmth and a touch of dark chocolate, fading to warm oak.
