The Distillers Editions are an annual release of the finest single malts, double-matured in batches using individually prepared casks that have held a specially selected fortified wine, chosen to complement the characteristics of each mature whisky. The result is a range of sublime, deeply flavoured single malt whiskies, very much true to their origins, yet possessing a rich depth, complexity and nuance of flavour.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery sheen and a whisper of mahogany.
Nose
Sea-salted peat and coastal smoke open the aroma, with mineral brine and iodine notes. Beneath, dark-fruit sweetness from the fortified wine—raisins, fig, a hint of cocoa—lends depth, while orange zest and vanilla lift the brightness. Maritime, smoky, and subtly spiced, it invites a lingering, resinous finish.
Palate
Silky yet robust, the palate opens with maritime smoke, brine and black pepper, tempered by wine-cask sweetness. Dried fig, cocoa and treacle build richness, with a saline thread and a persistent, warming, peaty finish.
Finish
Long maritime finish with a soft peat and sea-salt glow. Sherried sweetness unfolds into dried fruit, toffee and cocoa, while peppery spice lingers, fading into a warm coastal smoke.
