Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Barbecue and peat smoke rise in a rich, sherry-kissed aroma. Dried figs and prunes unfold with cocoa and toffee, while a salt-kissed coastal breeze and a touch of pepper lift the profile. A quintessential Talisker—smoky, maritime, and luxuriously elevated by PX sherry.
Palate
Barbecue char and Talisker peat envelope the palate, lifted by sherry-cask sweetness. A full, silky mouthfeel carries dried fig and raisin, toffee and a hint of dark chocolate, with peppery spice and sea-salt lift. The finish is long, warming, with lingering maritime smoke.
Finish
Long, smoky, and refined; Talisker’s barbecue-peat lingers with a delicate sherry sweetness, while sea-salt and peppery warmth fade to a dry, ember-dried finish.
