Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep honey-amber with sunlit copper highlights and a whisper of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Rich sherry influence coats dried fig and raisin with stewed apple, orange zest and almond. Velvet honey and toffee ripple through vanilla, while cocoa nibs and polished oak provide depth. Subtle cinnamon and a whisper of old leather lend gravitas to this mature Speyside perfume.
Palate
Silky and refined, this palate opens with peach and pear along with sultanas, eased by warm toffee and vanilla. Sherry-soaked depth adds raisin and fig, while cinnamon and nutmeg weave through a suave oak backbone. Balanced and lingering, it leaves an elegant, old-world finish.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with dusky sherry notes enveloping ripe fig and dried plum, balanced by toasted oak and cocoa. A gentle spice lingers, warming the palate into a lasting, refined fade.
