Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-gold with warm amber and bronze highlights, a glossy, sunlit hue.
Nose
Salt-sprayed and smoke-kissed, this nose layers Talisker’s maritime peat with a peppery bite and briny notes. A gentle sherry sweetness emerges—raisins, fig, cocoa—alongside polished oak, vanilla, and a whisper of spice. The aroma feels aged and refined, hinting at the long, coastal finish to come.
Palate
Coats the palate with rich maritime peat, briny sea spray and charred oak. Dried fig, dark chocolate and a touch of honeyed fruit unfold, lifted by peppery spice. The finish is long and mineral, with lingering sea-salt and embered warmth.
Finish
Long, maritime and smoky, the finish lingers with sea-salt and peat, softened by a gentle sherry sweetness. Dried fruit, cocoa and spice unfold on warm oak, leaving a persistent, peppery glow that drifts into coastal calm.
