A small batch, luxury Whisky from the multi award winning Tasmania Distillery. Tasmania Distillery are best known for producing Sullivan's Cove which was voted the Worlds Best Single Malt Whisky at the World Whisky Awards in 2014, and is now highly sought after by connoissuers and collectors the World over. The 1812 Indefatigable Whisky is a homage to the humble beginnings of the convicts that left England in 1812 on the ship the Indefatigable. Four generations later this led to the opening of distillery and the production of this magnificent 14 year old Whisky.
This whisky is bottled at 50% ABV and is made by traditional methods using only Tasmanian ingredients. It is not chill filtered nor are there any flavours or colours added. Only 100 bottles are released onto the market each year, making this an exceptional rarity - an extremely small batch, single cask whisky. Each bottle is beautifully pesented in finest hand blown crystal and comes in a bespoke, distressed oak presentation chest with a solid Irish silver stopper. The label design is adorned with a painting by renowned Irish artist Brian Maguire who has signed each bottle, and each component of the whisky is individually numbered from 1 to 100.

Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery sheen and honeyed warmth.
Nose
Elegant and waxy, the nose opens with polished oak, beeswax and vanilla, revealing dried orchard fruits, toffee and warm spices. A maritime brine and citrus zest lift the scent, with a subtle whisper of cocoa and toasted barley.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate with a waxy texture and refined oak. Citrus zest, pear and honeyed fruit rise with vanilla cream and almond, a kiss of cocoa. Mid-palate brings spice—cinnamon and clove—while a subtle maritime brine threads through. Long, elegant finish of warm sweetness, coffee-kissed oak and a gentle saltiness that lingers.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with refined warmth. Vanilla bean and toffee rise, followed by citrus zest and dried fruit, carried on silken oak spice. A touch of coastal brine threads through the sweetness, fading to a quiet echo of polished wood and a delicate whisper of tobacco.
