Product Description
Strathisla is the oldest operating distillery in the highlands and produces aged malts that are core to the Chivas range of blended whiskies. This 12yo expression is the only distillery bottling to be available in recent years and showcases both distillery character and cask influence.
A fruity, sherried dram that doesn't get the attention that it deserves. A favourite of blenders and single-malt connoisseurs alike.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Malty notes, hay notes, followed by a richness and fruitiness and a nice dry oakiness.
Palate: Big fruitiness, followed by an almondy nuttiness and more malty, hay notes.
