One of the seven BenRiach single cask selection Batch 14 released for 2017.
This Speyside single malt was distilled on 16th February 2005 using peated barley, before maturing in a port cask for 12 years.
Bottled in June 2017 at a strength of 53.1% abv, only 713 bottles have been produced.
Cranberry and apricots greet the nose with a dusting of icing sugar and wood smoke notes.
The palate has mixed red fruits with allspice and a touch of coconut before ashy peat and crisp oak in the finish.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with a warm ruby-garnet glow.
Nose
Cranberry and apricot aromas rise on the nose, touched by a pale dusting of icing sugar and a whisper of wood smoke from peated barley. Bright fruit-tinged sweetness sits above a restrained, elegant smoky backbone.
Palate
On the palate, mixed red fruits mingle with allspice and a touch of coconut, then ashy peat and crisp oak emerge in the finish.
Finish
Ashy peat lingers with crisp oak, leaving a dry, smoky finish threaded with a hint of spice.
