Colour

Dark amber with coppery highlights and mahogany edges.

Nose

Peat smoke mingles with rich Oloroso sherry, releasing notes of fig and raisin, dark chocolate, and toasted almond. Velvet caramel and orange zest ripple through, while underneath sits leather, old wood, and a trace of briny coastal air, an elegant, concentrated aroma.

Palate

Peat smoke opens the palate, tempered by rich Oloroso sweetness. Notes of fig and raisin mingle with toffee, dark chocolate and a hint of leather. Oak spice and vanilla emerge, a peppery warmth lending structure, while a velvety, full mouthfeel carries through to a long, smoky, sweet finish.

Finish

Long, warming finish with peat smoke and Oloroso sweetness intertwining. Dried fig and dark chocolate emerge, touched by toffee and spice, fading to a resinous, slightly salty tail that lingers gracefully.
