Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, burnished amber with copper-gold highlights and subtle mahogany undertones.
Nose
Opulent sherry-burnished aroma, unfolding with dried fig and prune, candied orange and toffee. Layered with dark cacao, toasted almond and a whisper of leather and tobacco. Beneath, polished Speyside oak delivers subtle spice, raisins, and a Christmas‑cake sweetness that hints at age and refinement.
Palate
Silky and richly sherried on the palate, with raisin and fig sweetness, layered orange peel, and cocoa nibs. Spices—cinnamon and clove—thread through polished oak, delivering a satiny texture and a long, refined finish that slowly reveals toffee, dark chocolate and a kiss of spice.
Finish
Long and refined, the finish wraps with dark plum and fig, tempered by cocoa and burnt sugar. Sherried sweetness lingers, carried by warm spices: cinnamon and clove, over polished oak and a hint of leather, fading to a silky, cognac-like warmth.
