Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany edge, a warm, sherried glow.
Nose
Opulent sherried bouquet of dark fruit—prune, fig and raisin—woven with toffee, cocoa and orange zest. Rich walnut and almond paste mingle with leather and antique oak spice, while vanilla caresses the nose. A syrupy, elegant sweetness hints at Christmas cake, with a velvety depth that promises a long, refined finish.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate with a luxurious sherry influence. Rich dark fruit compote—prune, fig and raisin—interwoven with orange zest, cocoa and brown sugar. Velvety tannins and warm spice braid through creamy malt, yielding cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Long, refined finish with toffee, hazelnut, leather and a subtle oak echo.
Finish
A long, luxurious finish with sherry depth: dark chocolate and fig sweetness mingle with orange zest, while ginger, cinnamon and toasted spice linger in the palate. Velvet oak wraps the echo, leaving a warm, refined glow that slowly fades to an elegant, lasting whisper.
