Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with a warm copper glow and a hint of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Layered and refined, the nose unfurls with honeyed malt, fresh apple and pear, and vanilla. Subtle orange zest and almond brighten the aroma, while sherry-tinged notes of raisins, toasted almonds and spice deepen the profile, finished by delicate oak and a whisper of barley sweetness.
Palate
Silky and honeyed, with orchard fruit and pear leading the palate. Soon a gentle wave of almond, prune and toffee unfolds, with subtle sherry influence bringing chocolatey notes and spice. Balanced oak and a creamy vanilla thread carry through to a medium-long finish of orange zest and nutty, warm sweetness.
Finish
Elegant, medium-long finish with gentle sherry sweetness and toasted oak. Dried fruit and almond emerge, softening into a warm spice that lingers as a silky, honeyed impression, leaving refined serenity on the palate.
