Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery mahogany hues and a warm ruby glow.
Nose
Peat-smoked and maritime on the nose, it carries Barolo-cask richness with bright red fruit: cherry, blackberry and plum, intertwined with rose petal and orange zest. Vanilla-bourbon sweetness, cinnamon and clove fold into the aroma, while waxy oak adds depth. Subtle tobacco, leather and cedar surface as the scent settles, leaving a warm, lingering finish.
Palate
On the palate, peat and Barolo-barrel influence mingle with ripe red fruit—cherry, plum, blackberry—backed by velvety tannins and spice. Rich espresso, dark chocolate and leather emerge, with a full, oily texture and a long, warming finish of smoke, fruit and oak.
Finish
Long, wine-forward finish with red-berry depth and cherry sweetness, bound by Barolo tannins and cocoa. A subtle peat kiss threads through, gradually fading into warm oak, spice and a lingering, refined warmth.
