Bottled in 1970 this 1919 Vintage Springbank was previously featured in the Guinness book of records as the worlds most expensive Whisky. With a full sized bottle selling for £120,000 in December 2018 (just 24 were released) this is a more cost effective (!) way to sample perhaps the rarest Whisky ever bottled.
Complete with a beautifully framed signed certificate of authenticity from the Distillery.
Originally released in 1970 long before anyone was releasing such old whisky.
This is a high quality investment piece and certaintly the rarest and most expensive miniature bottle of Whisky ever released.
This bottle is supplied complete with an original period letter of authenticity from the Springbank agency at the time of release.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep antique amber with rich mahogany undertones and burnished copper highlights.
Nose
Coastal peat and smoke rise alongside age-softened sweetness. Maritime brine, waxed wood and leather mingle with dried fruit and orange zest, a touch of toffee. Subtle tobacco and sherry hints glide over mineral, old-cask polish. A refined, contemplative nose that speaks of Campbeltown’s sea-battered elegance.
Palate
The palate unveils a majestic balance of peaty smoke and maritime brine, followed by a rich core of dried fruit, toffee and sherry-inflected sweetness. Dark chocolate, orange zest and waxy oak mingle with leather and spice, while subtle mint and pepper provide lift. A long, velvety finish echoes smoke, salted caramel and polished oak with enduring refinement.
Finish
Long and impeccably poised, the finish unfurls with coastal brine and a whisper of peat, giving way to dried fruits, cocoa and toasted oak. Cinnamon and nutmeg linger as a velvety, enduring warmth threads through the palate, leaving a refined, lingering fade.
