This eight year old Single Malt was fully matured in a first fill Bourbon barrel and bottled at natural cask strength. This is a very typical example of the Smogen Whisky style; clean, crisp and very drinkable.
Crisp and clean aromas. Vanilla and oak with a splendid hit of earthy coastal peat. Hints of green banana and peanut brittle. Chocolate and malt initially on the palate, with hints of strong sweet coffee. Peppery spices linger with some charred lemon zest.
