Tasting Notes

Colour

Pale gold with delicate straw tones and a whisper of amber.

Nose

Delicate, perfumed and airy, with floral heather, bright lemon zest and orchard fruit such as green apple and pear. A honeyed sweetness and creamy vanilla weave through a whisper of almond, lightly dusted spice, and faint dried fruit from the sherry cask. Subtle waxy malt lends elegance, leaving a soft, lasting bouquet.

Palate

Light, elegant and fruit-forward on the palate. Orchard apple and pear mingle with lemon zest and honeyed cereal, shaded by a whisper of almond. Subtle sherry-influenced warmth and gentle spice drift into a polished oak backbone, finishing clean and refined with a hint of sweetness.

Finish

Silky, lingering finish with florals and citrus zest giving way to nutty sherry sweetness—prune, almond, and a hint of cocoa—soft oak and a delicate spice fade that lingers long on the palate.

(Rose-BANK) Famous for very high quality, triple distilled malt, Rosebank Distillery can be found on the banks of the Forth and Clyde canal, between Edinburgh and Glasgow. With the exception of war time closures, Rosebank distilled until 1993 when it was closed, seemingly for good. Naturally over time bottlings have become scarce.
