Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a honeyed glow.
Nose
Maritime and briny on the nose, with rich sherry sweetness. Dried fig and raisin meet orange zest, cocoa nibs and toasted almond, lifted by vanilla and brown spice. A warm, resinous backdrop and a touch of alcohol promise a bold coastal character.
Palate
Maritime and rich on the palate, it delivers sherry-soaked fruit—fig, raisin and orange zest—woven with dark chocolate, toffee and a saline, coastal edge. Full-bodied and velvety, with oak spice and a warming, syrupy sweetness, ending in a long, lingering finish that remembers the sea.
Finish
Long, maritime and softly richer, the finish glides from briny coastal notes into a wave of sherried fruit. Dried fig and orange zest mingle with dark chocolate and toasted oak, while a subtle almond nuttiness lingers. Warming spice—clove and cinnamon—peels away slowly, leaving a polished, salt-kissed echo that persists with refined sweetness and a final whisper of sea air.
