The iconic Nikka From The Barrel is a blend of single malts from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries, a unique grain whisky married from a selection of different oak casks to create a rich harmony of distinct flavours.

It is a deliciously, well-balanced whisky with notes of dried fruit, honey, coconut, winter spices, apple, smoke, and vanilla which is best served neat or over ice to showcase its flavours and richness.

On the palate, a luxurious, well-balanced chorus of dried fruit and honey, with creamy coconut and crisp apple, layered with winter spices and a hint of smoke. Vanilla coats the mid-palate, while subtle oak adds depth, finishing long with warm spice and lingering sweetness.

Finish

Long and velvety, the finish carries honeyed vanilla into dried fruit and apple, with a soft coconut gentleness. Winter spices unfold and a whisper of smoke lingers, supported by gentle oak, leaving a warm, elegant aftertaste that invites the next sip.

Nikka
Nikka was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, one of the key figures in the birth of Japanese whisky. The company began as Dai Nippon Kaju, with Yoichi Distillery completed the same year in Hokkaido, and the first bottle of Nikka Whisky followed in 1940. A second major milestone came in 1969 with the opening of Miyagikyo Distillery, giving Nikka two very different malt whisky styles to work with and helping define the house’s approach to blending.
