Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a honeyed glow; a warm, sun-brushed hue evoking sherry influence and decades in cask.
Nose
Opulent sherry aromas rise with ripe plum and raisin, threaded with dark chocolate, toffee and almond paste. A whisper of orange zest and spice glides through the fruit, while polished oak lends warmth and refinement.
Palate
Velvety and full-bodied, it coats the palate with luxurious fatness, releasing dark prune, fig and raisin woven with molasses and cocoa. Sherry-spiced notes—nutmeg, cinnamon and orange zest—sit alongside creamy vanilla and softly toasted oak. The finish is long and warming, with coffee-dark depths and a lingering, gentle sweetness.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of dark fruit and sherry, with cinnamon and clove over toasted oak. Velvet and warming, it fades to cocoa and leather, leaving a lasting, refined warmth on the palate.
