A Mortlach single malt bottled by Signatory Vintage as part of the 100 Proof series, this Batch #73 release was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2026 after maturation in Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 57.1% ABV, it continues the series’ focus on high-strength, sherry-influenced expressions.
Oloroso sherry maturation adds rich dried fruit sweetness, nutty depth and warming spice to Mortlach’s robust Speyside spirit, complementing the distillery’s naturally full-bodied, meaty and weighty character in a bold high-strength release.

Nose
Opulent sherry-driven aroma, rich with dark dried fruits—fig, raisin and prune—over toasted almond and walnut. Caramel and cocoa weave through warm spice—cinnamon and clove—with a lift of orange zest. The Mortlach meaty, velvety depth and polished oak emerge, carried by the bold, high-strength 57.1% spirit.
