A release from speyside Mannochmore distillery as part of the Single Malts of Scotland, Reserve Casks series.

Distilled in 2009, aged for 11 years and bottled in 2020 this single malt whisky is a production of batch of seven-ex bourbon hogsheads to create a fresh, subtly sweet, fruity dram.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Lime and dill pickle with hay, spiced apple sauce and bread and butter pudding.

Palate

Damson plum jam followed by buttered toast and childhood sweetness of pear drops, bonbons, custard tempered by cardamom and apples.

Finish

Refreshing and light with elderflower, pistachios, lime and a touch of white pepper.
