A small batch of four refill butts from Ben Nevis distillery has been used to create this Highland Single Malt, distilled in 2013 and aged for nine years. A stone’s throw from the River Lochy, on the outskirts of Fort William, Ben Nevis creates a full, fruity spirit and is one of the last distilleries to still use brewer’s yeast.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with sunlit honey tones and a subtle copper glow.
Nose
Fat and rich, the nose unfolds with dusty dark chocolate and sultanas, while dried mango coated in chocolate and hazelnuts adds a glossy, dessert-like sweetness.
Palate
Beautifully thick, the palate delivers charred marshmallow and kirsch chocolates, while almonds and dried fruit build and develop, finishing with even more melted chocolate.
Finish
Dried mango deepens, with a bright mandarin lift that leaves a citrus-sweet, lingering finish.
