Battlehill is one of many historical landmarks situated in and around Huntly that holds a particular significance in the history of Scotland. The Battlehill range by Duncan Taylor is a commemoration to this rich history. This particular expression was distilled at the iconic Ben Nevis in 2013, maturing in oak for 9 years, before a final finish in cognac cask wood.

His son Peter took up the reins soon after and built a significant business and by the end of the 19th century, when blended Scotch was becoming the fashion, Long John’s Dew of Ben Nevis was a successful brand.
