Mackmyra Moment SkogShallon is a wonderfully summery whiskey with soft flavors of red berries that bring forth thoughts of the Swedish summer. An elegant single malt whiskey partially matured in ex-bourbon barrels saturated with 'wine' from Swedish wild raspberries.
Skogshallon has also been matured in new American oak barrels, and the result is a naturally fruity whiskey with tones of red forest berries, vanilla, sour caramels, tobacco leaves and roasted oak barrels. Master Blender Angela D'Arazio has created a whiskey with the taste of Swedish summer. The is a limited edition of only 1511 bottles.

Colour
Warm golden-amber with coppery undertones and a subtle ruby-red glow.
Nose
Soft and fruity, with strawberries and citrus, pear caramel, vanilla, ginger and white pepper, balanced by roasted oak.
Palate
Fruity with tart red berries and pear caramel, spiced by vanilla, with hints of tobacco leaves and roasted oak.
Finish
Soft finish of sour caramels, vanilla and tobacco leaves lingers gracefully, leaving a delicate sweetness and a subtle, tobacco-kissed warmth.
