Mackmyra Björksav (birch sap) is a Swedish single malt whisky inspired by the long-awaited return of spring. A collaboration with Grythyttan wine, Björksav is made up of whisky aged in ex-Bourbon, oloroso, birch sap wine seasoned and Sweidsh oak casks for a rewarding, floral whisky.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant golden amber with honeyed warmth and subtle coppery depth.
Nose
Floral and fruity on the nose, with spice, vanilla fudge, sandalwood, birch sap wine, and sweeter cherry and raisin notes.
Palate
Fruit-forward with raisins and orchard fruit, supported by toasted oak and vanilla fudge, then a lift of anise, ginger and white pepper.
Finish
Light and spicy, finishing with a delicate echo of toasted oak and dried fruits.
