The first 10 year old single malt released by Sweden's top distillery and aged in a combination of Swedish oak, Ex-Oloroso Sherry oak and new American oak casks.
A lovely fresh and summery single malt with very inviting fragrant and fruity flavours, much to admire here and if you were to try this blind you could have easily mistaken this for a much older (and more expensive) Lowland single malt.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Sun-kissed golden amber with a warm honey hue and a delicate copper gleam.
Nose
On the nose, egg custard tarts and buttery Madeira cake mingle with fresh sappy oak. Ripe orchard fruits, apple blossom and almond milk drift through the glass, lightly dusted with cinnamon and clove. Hints of summer meadows and a whisper of rum raisin fudge add a creamy sweetness and depth.
Palate
Golden syrup sponge pudding with vanilla custard gives way to airy meringue, sugared almonds and honeycomb. Juicy sultanas and ripe orchard fruits mingle with rum baba, French toast and salted caramel. A warm, sun-kissed sweetness carries pineapple on the griddle with a final dusting of icing sugar caramelisation.
Finish
Marzipan and meringue linger with spiced tropical fruit—pineapple, mango and passion fruit—framed by aromatic oak. Turkish delight, sappy vanilla and white chocolate bonbons leave a delicate, sweet perfume on the finish.
