Mackmyra Moment Lava is a smoky Swedish single malt whisky that offers warm tones of roasted oak, red grapes and creamy vanilla. The whisky is distilled at Mackmyra Bruk, and has matured in Bodås Gruva for 9 to 11 years on 200 liters of 1st fill exburbon cask and 128 liters of 1st fill oloroso cask.
This is a fruity whisky with aromas of spicy tobacco leaves, raisins, buttercream and vanilla in combination with distinct smoky tones.The texture is creamy and medium-rich. A limited edition of only 1400 bottles.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Fruity, spicy and smoky on the nose, with hints of tar, dark chocolate and pear drops. Marzipan and ginger mingle with roquefort and mineral notes, giving a cool lift beneath a warm, creamy fruit-forward aroma.
Palate
Fruity, slightly smoky with toasted oak, balanced by saline hints and tobacco leaf. Sweet notes of raisins, butterscotch and vanilla weave through a creamy, medium-rich palate.
Finish
Spicy vanilla weaves with soft oak and tobacco leaves, unfolding into a long, dry finish that lingers with warmth and subtle herbal smoke.
