A very complex Swedish Single Malt from Mackmyra. Midnattssol or Midnight Sun has been distilled in: American and Swedish Oak, Sherry and Bourbon casks then finished in casks that have contained Swedish wine made of birch sap! Only 111 bottles imported to the UK.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Bright sunlit gold with warm amber reflections, a luminous, sun-kissed hue.

Nose

Fresh meadow aromas of green pears and elderflower syrup mingle with grassy green herbs, lemon sponge and freshly baked biscuits, touched by aromatic honey.

Palate

Mocha and gingerbread mingle with walnut cake, herbal honey and lemon moose, while vanilla custard threads through and honeycomb adds a delicate sweetness.

Finish

Lemon and raisin pancake notes linger with a ribbon of golden syrup, delicate elderflower, pear drops and a touch of floral honey.
