Computer created whisky? This is the first time that AI has been used to augment and automate whisky creation. The distillery’s machine learning models are fed with Mackmyra’s existing recipes (including those for award-winning blends), sales data, and customer preferences. With this dataset the AI can generate more than 70 million recipes that it predicts will be popular and of the highest quality.
The result is Intelligens, an elegant Swedish single malt whisky with golden yellow color. A fruity whisky with notes of toffee, creamy vanilla, pear, apples, white peppar and a light tone of toasted oak casks.

Colour
Radiant golden yellow, sunlit and bright, with a warm honey hue that hints at the whisky’s luscious depth.
Nose
Toffee and creamy vanilla weave with subtle oloroso tones and bright fruit of pear, apples and citrus. Herbal notes of aniseed and ginger, with white pepper, and a light touch of toasted oak casks.
Palate
Vanilla envelopes fine oak as citrus and pear brighten the palate; herbal spices weave through with a hint of tobacco and a subtle touch of smoke.
Finish
Fruity and oaky, with a gentle saltiness and a dry, lingering finish.
