Mackmyra Gruvguld (Gold from the mine) is a Swedish Single Malt Whisky matured in small casks stored 50 metres below ground in their warehouse at Bodas Mine. Its aromatic richness comes from the wide variety of cask types used to mature the Whisky, including ex-Oloroso Sherry, ex-Bourbon, and Swedish oak. The Whisky's character is oaky and spicy, with notes of vanilla fudge, tobacco leaves, pear drop and sandalwood.

Colour
Rich golden amber with a warm, sunlit glow and coppery hues.
Nose
Oak-forward and spicy on the nose, with ripe vanilla fudge, tobacco leaves, and pear drops drifting alongside sandalwood. The breadth of cask maturations—ex-Oloroso, ex-Bourbon, and Swedish oak—adds a sherry-tinged depth and a warm, woody spice.
Palate
Richly oaky and spicy on the palate, it unfolds with creamy vanilla fudge and pear drop sweetness weaving through tobacco leaves. Subtle sandalwood accents join a sherry-bourbon complexity, delivering polish and an underground warmth from cellar maturation that lingers with a refined, wood-driven finish.
Finish
Long and refined, the finish carries warm oak and spice that gradually soften into vanilla fudge, pear drop and a trace of sandalwood. Subtle tobacco leaves add a final touch, with a drying, smoky-sweet echo lingering gracefully.
